The State of Safety in Healthcare 2024

April 4th, 2024 1:00PM – 2:00PM ET

About this webinar

Safety is the chassis of healthcare for both patients and employees. While nearly 600,000 safety events were reported nationwide in 2023, this figure represents a positive trend—a trend that underscores healthcare’s unwavering commitment to transparency and high reliability.

But the journey toward zero harm continues. Despite positive momentum, 48.5% of employees still rate safety culture low. Press Ganey analyzed safety data and measures across the healthcare experience to understand the current state of healthcare safety, and its impact on both patients and employees.

On April 4, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT, join us to hear perspectives from Press Ganey’s Chief Safety and Transformation Officer, Dr. Tejal Gandhi, Ohio Health’s VP of Safety, Dr. Michael Waite, St. Luke’s Health System’s VP and Chief Quality Officer, Dr. Bart Hill, and Parkland Hospital’s SVP and Chief Quality and Safety Officer, Dr. Michael Lane, as we dive into the findings of Press Ganey’s “Safety in healthcare 2024” report, launching later this month.
