9:00 – 9:45 a.m.​  Safety as a Leadership Imperative: A Framework for Leading a Systemwide Safety Culture

INTEGRIS Health is Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health care system, operating more than 1,800 licensed beds over 16 health care campuses, which includes eight wholly-owned hospitals, four specialty hospitals, and four additional community hospitals. The system offers more than 170 family care and specialty clinics and employs more than 10,000 caregivers. Leadership is critical to creating a systemwide culture of zero harm to patients and caregivers. In this session, INTEGRIS President and CEO, Timothy Pehrson, will share strategies for developing a leadership operating system that helps facilitate a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Attendees will explore a framework for leading a consistent and sustainable safety culture designed to hardwire High Reliability practices in your workforce to reduce preventable harm across their organization.
