What it is
Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) is a quality reporting program that uses negative payment adjustments to promote reporting of quality information by individual eligible professionals (EPs) and medical groups.
Beginning with the 2015 performance period, medical practices participating in the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) program will be required to move from CMS-administered PQRS CAHPS surveys to vendor-administered surveys and must select a partner before Sept. 22, 2015. The PQRS CAHPS regulatory survey is a one-time per year retrospective survey. Press Ganey is certified to offer the PQRS CAHPS regulatory survey.
Effective July 24, 2015, Press Ganey is a CMS-approved vendor for the PQRs CAHPS survey. We welcome the opportunity to partner with you on this important CMS initiative. To authorize Press Ganey as a survey vendor, a medical group representative mus complete the CAHPS for PQRS 2015 Survey Vendor Authorization Form.
With more CAHPS® experience and expertise than any other provider, Press Ganey can help your medical practice meet PQRS CAHPS regulatory reporting requirements. To drive performance improvement in overall care and coordination, an ongoing approach prepares practices to score higher on the annual PQRS CAHPS survey requirement, and mitigate the risk of reimbursement cuts.
