Online Physician Reviews for Improving Care and Reducing Suffering

Added on Jul 13, 2015

More American adults than ever—59% according to a survey by the Journal of the American Medical Association—rely on online ratings and reviews when choosing a physician. Providers that do not engage with the public and let third-party review sites tell their story risk unfair bias and being absent from the online conversation altogether.

These sites have already had a positive effect on the patient experience and on overall business at these systems, and have become a cornerstone of their patient-experience improvement efforts.
