Webinar: The pay-for-performance landscape in the physician space continues to evolve. The new proposed Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) will consolidate components of three existing programs: the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), the Physician Value-based Payment Modifier (VM), and the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program for Eligible Professionals (EPs). While a significant change, it continues the focus on quality, resource use, and use of certified EHR technology to provide value – and includes patient experience measurement through CAHPS as one of the quality measures. Patient experience through the CAHPS program will continue to be a key aspect of future physician programs.
