Patient Voice Award^SM

Academic medical centers (AMC) provide both routine and highly-specialized patient care in an environment dedicated to research, education and the advancement of health care. This setting presents unique challenges as organizations strive to achieve high standards for both academic excellence and delivery of patient care.

The Patient Voice Award for academic medical centers, presented in 2011 for the first time, recognizes clients who have achieved superior patient satisfaction as demonstrated by HCAHPS performance compared to academic medical centers in the Press Ganey database.
