Press Ganey Associates, Inc. announces its elite class of 2009 award-winning health care organizations, including recipients of its prestigious Summit Award. The Press Ganey Summit Award recognizes organizations that have achieved and sustained the highest level of excellence in patient satisfaction.

In addition to the Summit Award recipients, the company is honoring winners of the following awards this week at the Press Ganey 2009 National Client Conference in National Harbor, Md.

More than 2,000 health care leaders from across the country have gathered in the DC area to discuss, learn, and share best practices on some of the key issues related to health care quality improvement. Attendees also have an opportunity to hear from leaders of the award-winning organizations and take back practical improvement tips to their own organizations.

The Partner of Choice Award is bestowed on clients that have reached and sustained excellence in their patient, physician, and employee scores. The Best Place to Practice Award and the Distinctive Workplace Award recognize clients that have reached and sustained the highest scores on physician partnership surveys and employee partnership surveys, respectively.
The Top Improver Award recognizes organizations that continuous improvement over a two-year period. A commitment to improvement characterizes recipients of the Top Improver Award.
