2007 National Client Conference a Huge Success
Thanks to each of you who attended the 2007 National Client Conference. It is your participation that made it such a huge success.
A combination of phenomenal break out sessions, inspirational keynote speakers, and the health care industry’s most dedicated professionals resulted in Press Ganey’s most successful national client conference yet. The more than 2,000 attendees had an opportunity to participate in more than 45 sessions led by leading experts in health care, motivation, and improvement.
Over 200 senior executives and chief executive officers were given a rare opportunity to hear three insightful leaders on health care trending during Tuesday’s Executive Forum. Speakers included Rich Umbdenstock, president and CEO of the American Hospital Association; Nancy Schlichting, president and CEO of Henry Ford Health System; and Dr. Mark Kelley, executive vice president of Henry Ford Health System and CEO of the Henry Ford Medical Group.
This year’s Journey Challenge was a huge hit. Attendees enjoyed music, good food, and a little friendly competition. Teams competed in a variety of fun games after forming a number of networking teams. Marty Colwell won the Hula Hoop championship with an amazing time of 23 minutes, 15 seconds. Rob’s Warriors took home the Tinker Tower trophy after building a tower that was 107 inches tall. And Evan Simmons’ team won the golf competition with 41 points.
In true Press Ganey style, the gala event on Wednesday night was a sight to behold. Attendees toured the amazing two-million pound ice extravaganza and then kicked off their shoes on the warm Florida beaches.
