Surveys for Specialty Areas

Press Ganey is best known for our surveys in the hospital and acute care marketplace, but we also offer a wide selection of additional surveys in a variety of specialty areas, including:

  • Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH)
  • Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation
  • Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health
  • Urgent Care

Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH) — These hospitals, with average lengths of stay in excess of 25 days, have unique issues related to patient satisfaction. Patients are often seriously ill, which make measuring satisfaction a challenge. Press Ganey has partnered with its LTACH clients to establish some unique and effective survey protocols to gain maximum response. Surveys to families and distribution at the point of discharge are just two ways Press Ganey can help you learn more about your LTACH patients.

Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation — Commonly called medical rehabilitation, the goals are to return the patients home and to work. In doing so, patients work vigorously in therapies to build muscles, fine motor coordination, speech, cognitive abilities, and other developmental areas. These surveys evaluate the full patient experience, including rehabilitation nursing and therapies. These surveys are used widely in hospital and freestanding settings. Press Ganey provides you with the rehabilitation industry’s largest database.

Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health — Patient confidentiality and anonymity are extremely important when surveying in the behavioral health setting. Press Ganey has developed survey protocols to ensure confidentiality and anonymity while maximizing responses. The strong databases for both surveys provide you with perspective on how you compare to facilities across the country.

Urgent Care — Press Ganey offers a unique survey designed for freestanding, walk-in urgent care centers. The urgent care survey helps you assess patient satisfaction for the minor illnesses and injuries presented by your patients. This survey accommodates facilities providing limited services as well as those offering diagnostic and therapeutic services.
