Patrick T Ryan

PATRICK T. RYAN
CEO

Patrick T. Ryan joined Press Ganey as CEO in early 2012, bringing with him more than 30 years’ experience in the health care field and a passion to continuously improve the safety, quality, and accessibility of care for patients. As CEO, he is responsible for the overall direction of Press Ganey and aims to enhance the company’s efforts to help providers improve the entire patient experience in today’s changing landscape.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Ryan served as the CEO of The Broadlane Group, a leading provider of cost management and supply chain solutions to acute, post-acute, and outpatient service markets. In 2010, The Broadlane Group was acquired by MedAssets Inc., and Ryan served in the interim role of president of spend and clinical resource management through the completion of the integration.

Previously, Ryan served as the CEO and a director of PolyMedica Corporation, until its acquisition by Medco Health Solutions in 2007. Operating under the well-known Liberty Medical Supply brand, PolyMedica was the nation's largest direct-to-consumer provider of blood glucose testing supplies and related services for more than 1 million active patients throughout the United States.

Ryan also served as the chairman and CEO of Physicians Dialysis, Inc., CEO of Principalcare Inc., president and CEO of ImageAmerica Inc., and president of R.B. Diagnostics. He began his career working for American Hospital Supply Corporation.

Throughout his career in health care, Ryan has served on numerous public, private and charitable boards. Ryan currently serves on the board of trustees of the Lahey Clinic, a physician-driven medical center and teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, as well as the board of Atrius Health, one of the largest physician groups in the nation. Ryan also serves on the board of directors of Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut and is a director of Affiliated Managers Group, Inc.

Ryan holds a bachelor of arts in political science and sociology from the University of Rochester.

 

Joe Greskoviak

JOE GRESKOVIAK
PRESIDENT

Joe Greskoviak joined Press Ganey in July 2012 and, as President, is responsible for leading Client Management, Sales, Field Operations, and Educational, Advisory and Consulting Services.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Greskoviak served as president of MedAssets’ spend and clinical resource management business. In that role, he oversaw meaningful business growth and the successful integration of The Broadlane Group business, its newest acquisition, into MedAssets. Prior to that acquisition, Greskoviak was Broadlane’s executive vice president and chief development officer. In his 12 years at Broadlane, Greskoviak held various executive roles and was instrumental in the company’s development and growth.

Previously, Greskoviak was vice president of business development and ecommerce at Premier Purchasing Partners, a division of Premier. He was closely involved in the formation of Premier's ecommerce company, Premier Health Exchange.

Greskoviak began his career in health care over 30 years ago. He is an active and influential leader in the industry and an advocate for a variety of health care organizations.

He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from DePaul University in Chicago.

 

Eileen Kamerick

EILEEN KAMERICK
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Eileen Kamerick joined Press Ganey as Chief Financial Officer in October 2012, bringing with her more than 15 years’ experience in similar leadership positions and nearly 25 years in financial management. As CFO at Press Ganey, Kamerick is responsible for the company’s financial planning, reporting, tax, treasury and facilities.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Kamerick served as the managing director and CFO at Houlihan Lokey, an international investment bank and financial advisory firm. In that role, she was responsible for all financial functions of the company and supervised multiple offices globally. Previously, Kamerick served as senior Vice President, CFO and Chief Legal Officer at Tecta America Corporation. In this role, Kamerick negotiated a successful recapitalization of the company and restructured operations for optimal cost efficiency.

Kamerick has also served as chief financial officer at numerous leading companies including Heidrick & Struggles, Inc.; Leo Burnett; United Stationers, Inc.; and BP Amoco Americas.

Kamerick received her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Boston College, and both her MBA and law degree from The University of Chicago.

 

Jonathan Black

JONATHAN BLACK
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Jonathan Black joined Press Ganey in 2012, bringing with him expertise in managing operations of complex health care organizations and in business integration, strategic operational alignment and implementation of business efficiencies. As chief operating officer, Black is responsible for the overall business management, ensuring delivery of high-quality and sustainable services and solutions for clients, and new growth opportunities.

Prior to Press Ganey, Black was the chief executive officer of Omnis Health since the company’s inception in 2008. Within three years, Omnis became an industry leader in the mail-order channel for blood glucose supply distribution. As CEO of Omnis, Black led the company’s growth and managed its successful sale in 2011.

Previously, Black held several leadership roles within two innovative health care organizations, PolyMedica Corporation and Physicians Dialysis. At PolyMedica, Black co-led business development, holding direct responsibility for the evaluation and integration of more than 20 acquisitions. Additionally, in the role of vice president of operations, Black managed distribution activities and the launch of new business segments.

In addition to his current role as chief operating officer, Black also serves on the Tufts Medical Center’s Board of Governors.

Black received a bachelor of arts from Tufts University and an MBA from Babson College with a concentration in health care and entrepreneurship.

 

David Costello

DAVID COSTELLO
CHIEF ANALYTICS OFFICER

David Costello, PhD, joined Press Ganey as chief analytics officer in 2012, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in developing innovative analytics solutions specifically for the health care industry. In his role, Costello is responsible for mining Press Ganey’s leading database of provider and patient data to drive more targeted performance improvement plans. Costello has a proven track-record for decreasing health care costs, and simultaneously improving clinical quality outcomes and generating positive brand affinity.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Costello served as executive vice president and general manager of SCIOinspire, a health analytics company focused on helping clients translate big data into actionable applications. Previously, Costello was senior vice president of consumer segmentation and engagement strategies at Health Dialog. While there, he created and implemented clinical, analytic and segmentation products aimed at decreasing medical costs and improving clinical quality among its 20 million members.

Costello received bachelor’s degrees in business and sociology from Northern Michigan University, and his master’s degree and PhD in sociology from the University of Delaware.

 

Greg Ericson

GREG ERICSON
CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER

Greg Ericson joined Press Ganey in 2012 as corporate senior vice president and chief innovation officer. In this role, Ericson oversees the company’s consolidated and integrated patient satisfaction and clinical IT platform and solutions. He has over 25 years of health care-focused IT, operations and account management experience.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Ericson served as CIO of Maxim Healthcare where he performed a key turnaround including the implementation of an industry-leading care management system and an eLearning system for more than 50,000 care givers.

Previously, Ericson was executive vice president and CIO for The Broadlane Group where he initiated the enterprise technology strategy and oversaw the organization’s operational and account management transformation. Earlier in his career, Ericson held progressive management roles with Smith & Nephew, PLC, Home Shopping Network, the Lee Company and Ernst & Young.

Ericson holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University in information services, with a strong focus in business, computer science and mathematics.

 

Patti Cmielewski

PATRICIA CMIELEWSKI
CHIEF MARKETING & PRODUCT OFFICER

With more than 20 years of industry experience spanning health care strategy, marketing and operations, Patricia Cmielewski was named Chief Marketing Officer in 2012.

In this role, Cmielewski is responsible for product management and marketing, with a focus on developing strategic products to help meet client needs and fine-tuning targeting and messaging to drive client retention and sales growth.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Cmielewski was senior vice president, strategic marketing at MedAssets, where she was instrumental both in completing the MedAssets acquisition by the Broadlane Group and building the new corporate positioning. Before MedAssets, Cmielewski was senior vice president, strategic marketing at Liberty Medical Supply, where she helped to double revenues through retention, sales and product development strategies.

Cmielewski also lead marketing efforts for Health Dialog, and held marketing roles at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.

Cmielewski received her bachelor’s degree in advertising from Penn State University, and her master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.

 

Devin Anderson

DEVIN J. ANDERSON
GENERAL COUNSEL AND CORPORATE SECRETARY

Devin Anderson joined Press Ganey in October 2012 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In this role, Anderson will be responsible for the legal, licensing, regulatory and compliance aspects of business operations and business development at Press Ganey.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Anderson served as the Chief Legal Officer of Medco International B.V., the international division of Medco Health Solutions, Inc. In that role, Anderson oversaw and managed all legal and regulatory aspects of Medco's business operations and business development initiatives in Europe. Previously, Anderson served as Chief Counsel of a Medco subsidiary, Liberty Healthcare Group, and oversaw all legal and regulatory aspects of Liberty’s mergers and acquisitions, business development and operational efforts.

Prior to his tenure with Medco, Anderson served as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of PolyMedica Corporation, where he oversaw all legal and regulatory aspects of PolyMedica's corporate strategy and business development initiatives, as well as advising the company on all aspects of corporate and securities law and corporate governance matters. Previous to PolyMedica, Anderson worked at the law firms of Hale and Dorr LLP and Pierce Atwood LLP.

Anderson received his bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Maine and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.

 

Lois Rickard

LOIS RICKARD
CHIEF TALENT OFFICER

Lois Rickard joined Press Ganey as senior vice president of human resources in 2010. After successfully transitioning human resources into a strategic partnership with the business and integrating the human resource aspects of previous acquisitions, she was named chief talent officer. In her current role, Rickard continues her strategic collaboration with the executive team, focusing on merger and acquisition diligence and integration, as well as growth and development of the organization.

Prior to joining Press Ganey, Rickard was with WebMD for 13 years where she managed a team of 20 employees in addition to spearheading human resource efforts for 26 acquisitions throughout her tenure. She was instrumental in innovating and implementing new practices and offerings for WebMD’s online business after working with the executive team to take the online division public in 2005.

Previously, Rickard led HR teams in a variety of industries including telecommunications and banking.

Rickard has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English from Albion College and a master’s degree in personnel and counseling from the University of Michigan.
